Hawaii Day 3 – Pearl Harbor
‘Nother beautiful non-Oregon non rainy day sorry for all you’s back at home (yea not really sorry). After some random and non-commital discussions about where to go we decided on heading down to Pearl Harbor today as it is monday and well should have been a slower tourist day at any of the ‘big touristy’ spots. Well we were wrong lol, at least it wasn’t terribly busy.

Once inside the visitor center (under construction) we wandered around before getting our tickets for the boat out to the USS Arizona Memorial (tip: get your tickets first we ended up getting them after wandering and had to wait 1.5 hours until our trip out).

After examining all the things around we grabbed our tickets for the boat shuttle and headed off for lunch since we had that long wait.

Lunch was at this little Filipino food stand in front of a K-Mart called Alyssandra’s Lumpia Express lumpia here was excellent!
Drove back to Pearl Harbor and took our ride over to the USS Arizona Memorial.

On the way back to the hotel we stopped in at the Ala Moana Shopping Center, this mall is HUGE! Sara found a sweet Domo shirt and we saw lots of sweet little things. And of course we had to stop at the Lego store and play around
After heading back to the hotel for a little rest we headed over to the International Marketplace for dinner.

Sara had the Unagi don from Rainbow Sushi, and I had Chicken Katsu Curry from the place across the way mmmmm…
